ANNUAL REPORT  2017-18 I am privileged to undertake, the pleasant duty of presenting the report of   activities of the academic year 2017 -18. As I look back, I thank the wonderful way in which the Lord Almighty has led us. At the onset, let me pay obeisance to our founder chairman and spiritual father His Eminence The Most Reverend Dr K P Yohannan, Metropolitan of Believers Eastern Church for his encouragement and guidance. The academic year, 2017 – 18 ushered us into one more evolutionary year with splendid glimpses of success. The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and critically. The goal of education is to form men and women of character and intelligence. ………. students entered into this temple of learning in June 2017, with excitement, optimism and aspiration. Academic activities began from the next day. Each day has its own spice and flavour, which made it, the year it was. Teacher Empowerment Great teachers help create great students. Informed and updated teachers play the most important factor in student achievement. It has been critical for us to train both new and experienced educators. Several trainings we held round the year. Our share of training extended to other schools as well. Academics The perseverance and meticulous endeavour of our diligent students were brought into limelight through the academic achievement of our students. Both class X and class XII students did the school proud by achieving cent percent results. Following are the students who secured A1 in all subjects in AISSCE class XII examination. School Assembly Our assemblies are an important feature of our school life. They act as one of the main ways by which we create a positive reflective ethos and provide value based education. Reading Week Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body. To commemorate the event, a week long programme was held highlighting the need to read and grow. We at BCRS do everything to bring reading to the door step of our classes. In connection with this, various inter house activities were conducted. Posted in Circular

As November rains and Children’s Day blooms, our hearts throb for those less fortunate and needy hands. While India celebrates the day of children, BCRS instigates the need for an action – for a positive change. Our motto – “Help people who can’t help themselves”. The great cause saw the birth of Phantasm Jamboree in the year 2014. This fund raising programme reached the pinnacle of success, when every penny collected reached the hands of needy cancer patients, the endosulphan victims and the little ones who had to undergo a surgery of the heart. Your support brought in newer smiles, newer days, and newer life. Thank you for your kindness. As we proceed with Phantasm Jamboree III, may we request you to be part of the God given opportunity? Your support and generosity will make a difference to the lives of at least a few people. Thank you for your precious...
