Children’s Day

November 14th, which marks the Children’s Day, is a day of significance to the Believers Church Residential School.  It is on this day every year that we hold a special fund raising social programme to help the poor and the needy children from the deprived rank of the society.  Last year, the celebration was launched under the banner PHANTASM JUMBOREE.  This year the second season of the programme was conducted with gaiety and honour.  The celebrations included a special assembly to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of free India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and a special cultural bonanza by the teachers.  The Jumboree included Game shows, magic show, food stalls, Mini theatres, musical shows and scary houses set up by the students.  The funds thus raised from the jamboree goes for meeting the medical expenses of atleast three children from economically backward...

Blaynes – 2015

“It is not about winning but having the desire to win!” Blaynes 2015-the first inter school volley ball tournament hosted by BCRS on 30/11/2015. Chief Guest of the day was Mr.Kishore Kumar, former Indian volleyball team captain inaugurated the tournament and felicitated by Mr.Sudheer, Pathanamthitta volleyball association treasurer. Eight teams participated in the tournament and Santa Maria Public School, Kotttayam emerged as the winner and Vidyodhaya School, Ernakulam were the runner up. Some proud moments to celebrate

In the Pathanamthitta District Sahodaya Competition that was held for the CBSE schools of the district. BCRS was the crowning glory.  From over fifty schools that participated in the competitions BCRS pushed its way up the score board with a clear lead of (points) .  About 107 participants from the school took part in various individual and group items.  Many of our students won individual and group prizes and many others scored an A grade which added to our scores.  The school bagged the Winner’s trophy in categories I, II and IV.  BCRS also lifted the Overall Championship giving us some proud moments to celebrate....
